Meet Ed Hall, a 40-year-old former Chicago teacher and the inventor of Word Ace, an electronic table-top game that teaches children spelling and vocabulary skills.  Hall finished as the competition's runner-up, and was congratulated by Hasbro Games executive Mike Hirdle.  Hirdle invited Hall to the game maker's headquarters with the promise of getting Word Ace into the marketplace.

 

Meet Janusz Liberkowski, the American Inventor $1,000,000 grand prize winner.  Liberkowski is a Polish immigrant who was inspired to create a new type of infant car seat after his young daughter Anecia was killed in car accident seven years prior to the competition.  

 

Meet Erik Thompson, a 40-year-old factory worker and gym owner from Detroit and creator of The Catch, a detachable vest that football players and other athletes can wear to train and develop proper catching skills.
